Whistle Pigs and Seagulls

They use this owl to keep the hundreds of seagulls away from all the fish guts.

As you can imagine there are quite a few interesting characters down in Chitna. One of these people works for the charter that we take each year to get the fish. He kept telling us about these things called whistle pigs. He was really excited about feeding them. They look like a cross between a chipmunk and a prairie dog. They are pretty aggressive, one even chased Kiah and Meghan around. Anyway, we did not encourage the feeding of the pigs!
