Cowee Creek Cabin

The girls, Luke, and I decided that a camping trip was in order before the snow hit. So we packed up and headed to one of the local cabins around here. It is called the Cowee Creek Cabin. It is 2.1 miles from the trail head to the cabin through marshy, sink-hole woods. Kiah and Adella hiked in the entire way and it was beautiful. On the way out Adella was really tired so Luke had to carry her and then Luke's dad carried her the rest of the way once he met up with us.

Here we are after the hike in...the girls look good after the long hike.
There is the cabin. It had a nice oil stove that kept us warm all night.

Adella and Nils at the trail head. She was pretty tired.

We hit the weather just right for the hike in. The hike out was another story!
